Overview:

Road to Mahakumbh: Amrit Yatra is a sacred road journey across Bharat that begins just before Devshayani Ekadashi and leads seekers into the first day of Shravan, following a spiritual progression from Hari to Har, from Amrit to Anand.

The journey begins at Haridwar, the sacred doorway into the spiritual path, where the pilgrim takes the first Sankalp and seeks the blessings of Maa Ganga.

From there, the trail moves to Vrindavan on Devshayani Ekadashi, the sacred day when Lord Narayan enters Yoga Nidra and Chaturmas begins. Taking blessings of Shri Krishna on this day marks the awakening of Bhakti and the beginning of the inner journey.

The next stop is Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain, where the seeker receives Baba Mahakal’s darshan on the very first day of this sacred transition of time, making it a powerful moment of purification, surrender, and spiritual reset.

From Mahakal, the journey continues to Omkareshwar, where the vibration of Om and the blessings of Maa Narmada guide the seeker into deeper alignment and awakening.

The path then reaches Trimbakeshwar and Nashik, where the sacred Godavari begins and where Amrit is believed to have fallen during Samudra Manthan, making Nashik one of the four sacred Mahakumbh destinations.

The upcoming Nashik Mahakumbh follows a powerful spiritual timeline:

31 October 2026 – Dhwajarohan and opening of the Kumbh cycle
2 August 2027 – First Amrit Snan
31 August 2027 – Second Amrit Snan
11 September 2027 – Third Amrit Snan in Nashik
12 September 2027 – Third Amrit Snan in Trimbakeshwar
24 July 2028 – Dhwaj Avarohan and conclusion of the sacred cycle

This makes Nashik a powerful point of preparation, awareness, and spiritual readiness for Mahakumbh.

The journey concludes at House of Ullassa Goa with Shravan Shivotsav, celebrating the first day of Shravan through bhajans, kirtan, Jalabhishek, satsang, and community devotion.

A journey of Sankalp, Bhakti, Shuddhi, Bodh, Amrit, and Anand.

This entire expedition will be documented as an unscripted spiritual web series on My Indo Channel, where travellers become part of a living story of faith, transformation, and celebration.

Details

Why This Journey Exists This journey is inspired by the spiritual footsteps of great masters like Adi Shankaracharya, Ahilyabai Holkar, Sri Ramanujacharya, and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who travelled across Bharat to preserve Dharma, traditions, and sacred knowledge. Road to Mahakumbh is an attempt to reconnect with that spirit of travel, devotion, and preservation. It is a sacred trail that begins at Haridwar, the doorway to Hari, moves to Vrindavan on Devshayani Ekadashi, follows the path of Shiva through Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar and Trimbakeshwar, and concludes at House of Ullassa Goa on the first day of Shravan. At the same time, it is also a movement to build awareness around the upcoming Nashik Mahakumbh.
