Morning / Afternoon
  • Arrive in Gaya (via Gaya Airport or Railway Station). Transfer to the hotel and check in.
  • Visit the sacred Vishnupad Temple, believed to mark Lord Vishnu’s footprint — an essential site for pind daan and ancestor offerings.
  • Optional: Participate in pind daan ceremony with assistance from local priests (advance coordination available).
Evening
  • Visit the Phalgu River ghat, believed to be the site of pind daan for King Dasharath.
  • Stroll through local markets for spiritual books, rudraksha beads, and puja items.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Gaya.
Morning
  • Breakfast at a hotel.
  • Drive to Bodhgaya (15 km / 30 min).
  • Visit the revered Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Siddhartha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. Meditate in the temple courtyard or attend chanting sessions.
Afternoon
  • Visit the Thai, Japanese, Bhutanese, and Tibetan monasteries, each reflecting a unique architectural and spiritual essence.
  • Explore the Great Buddha Statue, a 25-meter-tall seated figure symbolizing peace and detachment.
  • Lunch at a local vegetarian café or monastery guesthouse.
Evening
  • Return to Gaya. Optionally visit Mangla Gauri Temple, one of the Shakti Peethas, dedicated to Goddess Durga.
